Job Title: EMS Liaison and Outreach Manager
Location: Lemoyne, PA
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
The EMS Liaison and Outreach Manager will be pivotal in building and strengthening J.E.T. Response’s connections with hospitals, healthcare providers, community organizations, and other EMS agencies. This role centers on promoting collaborative partnerships, enhancing patient and stakeholder outreach, and expanding the organization's community impact. As an integral part of the team, the EMS Liaison will develop targeted strategies to improve coordination with hospitals, establish trust with partner EMS agencies, and increase public awareness of J.E.T. services. This position requires a highly organized, proactive communicator with a background in healthcare, public health, or emergency services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Hospital and EMS Agency Liaison:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between J.E.T. Response and hospitals, healthcare providers, and EMS agencies, fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships.

  • Coordinate regular meetings, workshops, and training sessions with hospitals and EMS partners to streamline patient handoffs, share best practices, and address shared challenges.

  • Collaborate with EMS agencies and healthcare networks to develop and promote joint initiatives that enhance community health and emergency preparedness.

Community Outreach and Public Education:

  • Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, schools, and local government entities to expand the reach of J.E.T. Response’s services.

  • Plan, organize, and participate in community events, health fairs, and educational sessions, delivering presentations on emergency preparedness, CPR, and first aid.

  • Develop and distribute educational materials tailored to public and healthcare audiences to improve awareness and understanding of EMS capabilities and services.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:

  • Engage regularly with internal and external stakeholders, including hospital leadership, community boards, and local government officials, to align outreach efforts with organizational goals.

  • Represent J.E.T. Response at regional EMS council meetings, public health forums, and inter-agency gatherings to advocate for EMS service improvements and foster cross-organizational support.

  • Lead the development of communication channels that strengthen partnerships and provide timely updates on new programs, initiatives, and achievements.

Marketing and Brand Awareness:

  • Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials that highlight J.E.T. Response’s community initiatives, success stories, and patient care excellence.

  • Oversee digital outreach, including social media and email campaigns, to showcase the organization’s work, engage with the community, and promote upcoming events.

  • Ensure consistent, impactful messaging that reinforces the organization's commitment to community health and effective EMS service delivery.

Reporting and Program Evaluation:

  • Track and analyze the impact of outreach and liaison efforts with hospitals, EMS partners, and community organizations.

  • Prepare regular reports for senior leadership with insights on outreach effectiveness, stakeholder engagement, and recommendations for strategic adjustments.

Qualifications:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in community outreach, healthcare liaison roles, EMS, or emergency services.

  • Proven experience working collaboratively with hospitals, EMS agencies, or public health organizations.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational abilities and experience in event planning, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Knowledge of healthcare systems, EMS protocols, and community health principles.

 

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Willingness to travel to meetings, hospitals, and community events.

  • Flexibility to attend events on evenings or weekends as needed.

 

Working Conditions:
The role involves work in an office environment, with frequent travel to hospitals, EMS agencies, and community events. May require transporting educational or marketing materials.
